Eugene has been a running, triathlon and cycling coach for the past 6 years. He holds a Diploma in Sports Coaching, is an Ironman Certified and Australia Triathlon Certified coach. He is also registered with National Registration of Coaches in Athletics and Cycling, IAAF and SG Level 1 (Cycling) certified respectively.

Currently coaching full time in triathlon, he is also coaching in several secondary schools in athletics. He coaches cycling and conducts coaching courses for the Singapore Cycling Federation. He firmly believes in good form and posture as having the correct biomechanics does not only help in greater performance but also greatly reduces the chances of injuries and enables us to enjoy sports pain and injury-free.

As a multiple sports coach, Eugene’s best trait is his ability to plan. He strongly believes that training will be most effective when there is enough rest and it does not interfere with daily lives, work and social commitments. Sound planning with sports science knowledge is vital! You will not have to worry about this when you train with Eugene. Eugene’s training style ensures that his clients are able to train effectively while enjoying the sport and grow as a person.

Personally, Eugene has done many triathlon races both locally and overseas, coming in the top 10 in his age group in some of the races. He has also done 3 Full Ironman races. As a coach, the school team he coaches is among the top 5 teams in Singapore National School Cross Country Championships. Some of his school athletes are among the fastest middle distance and cross country runners in Singapore, potentially being our National runners.
