Corporate Wellness Proposal

Launch Kit.

While a corporate wellness program can boost your company’s productivity, planning it can be a daunting task. Our launch kit includes the resources you need to create the backbone of your amazing proposal.

Open resources for wellness planning.

We have organized more than 2500+ hours of employee wellness activities for companies in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, and the US. Through this launch kit, we wish to contribute to the wellness planning community by sharing our experience and knowledge.

Key components of a wellness proposal:

Background.

As the first section of your proposal. You should state the identity of your company and the general flow of your plan:

What are your company’s values and goals? How does your company differentiate itself from your competitors? Elaborate on your company's uniqueness.

Describe the general objective of the fitness/ wellness program. It is also the best place to write your index of all contents of your proposal.

It's nice to include your schedule if you already have a solid plan. Add a section for a schedule indicating the time for planning, purchase procedures, execution and subsequent evaluation.

Objective.

What do you hope to achieve at the end of the program? Set a measurable and realistic goal for your wellness program:

General wellness and satisfaction can be one of the most popular and general expected outcome.

Is weight management your target? You can use different body composition analysis technologies to provide objective and measurable results.

Other than physical health, mental wellness is also an important topic we face today. Find a suitable form/ questionnaire to assess the satisfaction of your employees.

Participants.

Consider your employees’ background and preference to plan a specific program for their needs:

What’s the average age of your workforce? Try to avoid intensive workouts with senior employees. Go adventurous with your young team to avoid them getting bored!

What’s the fitness level of your workforce? Consider the starting point of your participants to set a realistic target.

Do consider any unknown/ known medical conditions of your team before organizing an activity. Different companies would have different regulations and insurance coverage. Get a waiver form if necessary.

Duration.

Depending on your goal, budget, time, and target. The duration of a program can vary greatly:

Actually majority of our clients opt for one-time activities for fun and team building. Choose fun, unique and trendy activities instead of generic exercises like yoga for the best results.

Opt for months-long/year-long programs for long-term and measurable health benefits. Common forms include group classes and bulk personal training passes.

A wellness week filled with a mix of fitness, nutrition and mental health. 3 months mental health campaign or even a 2 day wellness retreat.

Location.

If your workplace has a nice empty function room or auditorium, great! If not, you can source for studios that are near your office for rent for your activity. You can also opt for online classes if office/ exercise spaces are not available:

Is the location free to use? If its not, is the fees covered by your contract with your provider?

Free, open locations are short in supply! Remember to visit your free location earlier to chop it.

For large scale events, consider the need for audio equipment. If the duration is long, consider refreshments and other supplies.

Online classes are very popular after COVID-19. It’s a very viable option as employees can enjoy the freedom and comfort of getting their classes at home.

Scope of work.

Make sure you get what you paid for. To protect your benefits, make sure you have the following scope of work clearly defined with your provider.

  • Management of program.

  • Consultation, provision of expertise.

  • Professional qualification.

  • CV and experience of trainers

  • Equipment.

  • Insurance.

  • Creation of marketing materials and EDM.
